Elaboración: Crianza de 36 meses en barrica nuevas de roble francés 80% y 20% de un vino y posteriormente 24 meses en fudres de roble Slavonia.

Notas de S. Tanzer sobre la añada 2005: "Good full red. Distinctly balsamic aromas of brown spices, tobacco, pepper, camphor and star anise. Thick on entry, then bright and sharply delineated in the mid-palate, with great energy and tactile minerality. This compellingly solid, chewy, classic Barolo finishes with great tannic force and grip and is virtually impossible to spit.  An explosively long Barolo that will need long aging.  Clerico can now keep these bottles in the special climate-controlled Per Cristina room in his new winery until he feels they're ready to drink."

This is an utterly captivating Barolo for its sheer power, richness and opulence. Despite the wine’s size, there is plenty of detail and nuance to explore in this utterly sensual, captivating Percristina. Readers lucky enough to find the 2004 Percristina should not hesitate, it is superb! Anticipated maturity: 2014-2029.
