Notas de The Wine Advocate
The classical single-vineyard 2016 Celia combines concentration and power with elegance and freshness, which was their aim. It contains some 7% Garnacha that gives it a touch of freshness combined with the inherent freshness from the year. The wine matured in 400-liter barrels for 14 months followed by a further four months in a 2,000-liter oak vat. This is evolving quite slowly and gracefully, as I think the best wines from the vintage would do. It has developed and complex aromas and a polished palate with very fine tannins and a dry, serious finish. This should make old bones. 2,000 bottles were filled in September 2018.
Notas de Cata de Peñín sobre la añada 2009: Color cereza, borde granate. Aroma hierbas de monte, fruta madura, terroso, roble cremoso, especias dulces. Boca sabroso, potente, carnoso, complejo, largo.
Producción limitada a 2.000 botellas.
