Notas de Parker: "I gave perfect scores to the prodigious 2007 and 2009, two of the greatest expressions of old vine Grenache from the province of Aragon that anyone could have desire. The both possess plenty of black raspberry, blackberry, kirsch and licorice characteristics as well as an undeniable minerality and precision that are remarkable given their full-bodied, massive concentration and intensity."

Elaboración: Un tinto 100% garnacha "de monte", procedente de viñas viejas de entre 40 y 65 años de edad, y una firma, el enólogo australiano Chris Ringland. 

Crianza de 18 meses en barricas de roble francés.

Notas de Parker sobre la añada 2007: The same can be said for the 2007 Alto Moncayo, also 100% Garnacha. It offers up a similar aromatic and flavor profile, just at a slightly higher octane level. This opulent effort is all about pleasure; give it 3-4 years of additional cellaring if you’d like it a bit more civilized

Notas de Cata de Peñín: Color cereza muy intenso. Aroma fruta madura, fruta confitada, mineral, especias dulces, cacao fino, chocolate. Boca potente, sabroso, concentrado, complejo.
